Terms & Conditions
1. Submission of an application does not constitute selection for the Ilford inColour programme.
2. All applications will be reviewed and assessed by Ilford BID and the appointed delivery partner, Wood Street Walls.
3. Applicants may be required to provide additional information, examples of previous work, references, insurance documentation, or participate in discussions as part of the assessment process.
4. Shortlisted and finalist artists will be notified directly. Final artist selections are expected to be confirmed during July 2026.
5. Selection decisions made by Ilford BID and Wood Street Walls are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding unsuccessful applications.
6. Selected artists must be available to deliver their artwork during the Ilford inColour event dates and comply with all event schedules, operational requirements, health and safety procedures, and site-specific instructions.
7. Artwork delivery is expected to be completed over the two-day event period. Completion of the allocated artwork within the designated delivery period is a standard requirement of participation.
8. Artists must work collaboratively with event organisers, fellow artists, contractors, volunteers, and stakeholders throughout the delivery process.
9. Final artwork concepts, locations, wall allocations, dimensions, themes, and delivery arrangements remain subject to approval by Ilford BID, Wood Street Walls, property owners, local authorities, and any other relevant stakeholders.
10. Artists must not commence any work, preparation, or installation activity outside of the agreed event programme without prior written approval.
11. Artists must not contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, political messaging, extremist, or otherwise inappropriate content.
12. Ilford BID reserves the right to amend locations, themes, event dates, artist allocations, or programme arrangements should operational, financial, safety, weather, permission, or stakeholder requirements necessitate changes.
13. Participation is subject to compliance with all event policies, risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety requirements.
14. By submitting an application, artists agree that photographs, videos, interviews, and images of their artwork may be used by Ilford BID, Wood Street Walls, partners, sponsors, and media organisations for promotional, marketing, educational, and reporting purposes.
15. Ilford BID reserves the right to withdraw, postpone, amend, or cancel any aspect of the programme at its discretion where circumstances require.
16. Additional terms and conditions may apply and will be provided to successful artists prior to final appointment.
