Now that tradition is coming back to life and we want you to be part of it. \nNewcastle-based Moving Parts Arts has worked with local artists in Newcastle\, London and Exeter to create three stunning new artworks inspired by this forgotten custom. These aren’t just artworks to look at\, they belong to you. \nJoin one of our free community workshops to contribute your own icons\, symbols and treasured objects to each piece\, making every Immortelle a living portrait of its community. \nThis activity is suitable for all ages\, but children must be accompanied by an adult. \nSpaces are limited and must be pre-booked. \nThis event is part of the Afterlives Festival \nEvents in London will take place at Redbridge Central and Wanstead Libraries from 4-7 June. \nFunded by Arts Council England. \n🎟️ Book Now
