The Father is an award-winning drama dealing with ageing, loss of identity and family love. This is a sensitive portrayal of living with dementia. As the titular father tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality. The 2020 film version, adapted by playwright Zeller was nominated for six Oscars as well as six BAFTAS.
