Redbridge Festival of the Dead 2026 is excited to welcome UDM Samba, London’s only dedicated Youth Samba band, to our Festival Parade, playing authentic music from the heart of Rio-carnival.
União da Mocidade is a Brazilian music and dance project for 12-25 year olds, bringing together young artists from all over London to rehearse and perform. Founded in 2004, the organisation has spent over two decades sharing a passion for the Brazillian Samba with young Londoners. Their costumes and music tell the story of “Carnaval de Los Muertos” – a true celebration of all cycles of life in Carnival.
Grab your costume and join the celebration between Redbridge Central Library and Ilford High Street.
