Christmas inIlford Talent Showcase Terms & Conditions

1. Applicants must be 5 years and over to apply.
2. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
3. Contestants may apply from anywhere in the UK
4. Audition performances must be a maximum of 1 minutes, via email by 25th October to cyril@ilfordbid.com.
5. Stage performances on the 25th November 2023 must be a maximum of 2 minutes.
6. Performers will be voted for by members of our community audience and stage host on 25th November 2023
   
7. There will be three places up for grabs for first, second and third place
8. Decisions in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winners and contestants agree to the use of his/her/their name in any publicity material.
10. Travel and sustenance costs are not the responsibility of Ilford BID & London Borough of Redbridge.
11. Ilford BID is not responsible for any costs related to the creation of submissions or performances.
12. Ilford BID is not responsible for the acts of any contestants or winners either in the past, present or future.
13. Prizes will be paid within two weeks of completion.
14. All attire, performances, language and public display must be free of profanity and accommodating to a diverse and child friendly audience. Any acts which do not meet these criteria will not be selected and if selected will be instantly disqualified.
15. Participants will commit to promoting the event and driving attendance via their own social media platforms and networks to friends, family, agents and supporters.
16. Participants, their promotors and supporters must commit to staying to the very end of the event and confirm that they will be available all day
17. Participants must be ready to meet at an agreed location at 1 pm on the 25th of November to get ready for their performance.
18. Contestants under 18 years of age must also obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian and be accompanied during their audition.
19. Contestants are required to notify the Ilford BID and the London Borough of Redbridge in advance if their acts involve dangerous stunts -- i.e., aerial arts or acrobatics.
20. The Ilford BID is not responsible for any infringement on copyright or plagiarism. The responsibility will sit firmly with the winners of the competition.
21. Ilford BID and Redbridge Council are not responsible for any injury caused during the performance through the negligence of a performer, group or act.
22. Acts which contain pyrotechnics, knives, sharp objects or endanger contestants are forbidden.
23. If there are any animals involved in your act, you must be able to show proof that they’ve received all necessary immunizations required by United Kingdom laws.
24. Snakes and other reptiles are not allowed.
