LEGO Build and Code: Create Your Own Robot, 10-11 yrs
Design and build a LEGO robot that moves, lights up and reacts to the world around it! Give it a face, add glowing features or moving arms, then code its personality – make it smile when it finds a magnet, respond when shaken or surprise you with sounds and changing expressions.
**This workshop is part of the LEGO Build and Code series. Please book your child’s preferred workshop and join the waiting lists for the other three if they would also like to attend, so more children have the chance to take part in at least one workshop.**
The workshop will be led by a team of four female STEM students, with plenty of support and encouragement throughout. Girls are particularly encouraged to take part.
No previous coding experience is needed, and all equipment and materials are provided. Children will have lots of opportunities to experiment, solve problems and build their confidence in a friendly and supportive environment.
