LEGO Build and Code: Bring a House to Life, 10-11 yrs
Build a LEGO house that comes to life when someone arrives! Add glowing windows, create an aluminium character and code your model so the lights switch on when the figure steps into place. Then experiment with buttons, flashing lights and different ways to control your creation.
**This workshop is part of the LEGO Build and Code series. Please book your child’s preferred workshop and join the waiting lists for the other three if they would also like to attend, so more children have the chance to take part in at least one workshop.**
The workshop will be led by a team of four female STEM students, with plenty of support and encouragement throughout. Girls are particularly encouraged to take part.
No previous coding experience is needed, and all equipment and materials are provided. Children will have lots of opportunities to experiment, solve problems and build their confidence in a friendly and supportive environment.
