Percussion Club
Percussion club members have the opportunity to play a wide variety of percussion instruments – big drums, small drums, African drums, South American drums, xylophones, glockenspiels and many more. All young musicians who enjoy hitting things are welcome! No previous experience is necessary, and all abilities are welcome. This club is a great opportunity for those learning drum kit, piano/keyboard or any other instrument to experience playing together as a group and develop musicianship and ensemble skills. This club performs in a variety of musical styles, learning music by ear and from notation too. Percussion Club is a great place to have fun with like-minded young people while developing musical skills.
Entry Standard: No previous experience necessary
Age: Yr.3+
Progression Routes: Percussion Club members can progress to our auditioned ensemble – Percussion Ensemble. Members of auditioned ensembles have the opportunity to apply for individual lessons at Redbridge Music School.
